Sicko (or SiCKO ) is a Documentary film American Réalisateur Michael Moore, initially projected on May 19th, 2007 with the Cannes festival (except competition) for the Journaliste S. His exit into the room place had on June 22nd, 2007 with the the United States, and on September 5th, 2007 in France.

The principal subject of this work is the comparison of the health system (important part of what is the Social security) the United States, with those of the Canada, Great Britain, France and of Cuba. This documentary wants to point out that the system of health of the Americans is very inhuman compared to those of so much of other countries, since it lays out of almost systematic bonds with the private services and the insurance companies.

In this documentary, first-aid workers of the Attentats of September 11th, 2001 intervened in the debris of the World Trade Center are introduced. Patients because of the various compounds in suspension which they inhaled shortly after the attacks or of the psychological traumatisms that they underwent, they have of the financial problems obtaining accessible care. Their difficulties are put in parallel with the care of quality lavished at the Prisonnier S of Guantanamo, which are regarded by the government American as dangerous terrorists.

Generally, Michael Moore explains there that certain services like the medical care, but also teaching and the family policy, should be public so as to make some profit the greatest number.
