Shrek the third

Shrek the third is a Film in synthesized images of Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon left in 2007.

It is the continuation of Shrek and Shrek 2 , starting from a fairy tale of William Steig, by DreamWorks SKG in 2007.

Synopsis

Shrek and Fiona reign with reserve on the kingdom of Extremely Remote Fort after the death of the king. However, if they can find the worthy heir to the throne and bring back it to the kingdom, they will be able to turn over in their marsh. Shrek, the Ass and the Potté Cat thus leave on their side, leaving Fiona only with the castle and the thank you of a coup d'etat of the Prince charming.

Anecdotes

  • hangs It French film is " It with royal the attitude" which is a reference to the song the positive attitude of Lorie (of which the expression " positive attitude" took again width after being used by Jean-Pierre Raffarin).

  • Contrary to the two precedents opus, the film does not start with images of book of fairy tale.

  • a scene of film is different from that shown in the Bande-annonce: in film, when Doris speaks about its attraction for the Prince charming and that the other girls express their dislike, they are going in a dark sewer while holding of the torches. In the trailer, they are in outside, without torches.

  • In the final scene of film, Shrek lange the Potté Cat without paying attention there.

Filmic winks

  • Monty Python: Crowned Graal! : The first scene of film introduces the Prince charming overlapping his destrier and to leave to save his princess. One sees thereafter that it is with the fact playing in a part, to overlap a wooden horse and that the noise of the shoes was in fact two Coconut struck one against the other by a person. This technique of sound effects is found in Sacré Graal! : The budget of film being “ too low to buy horses ”, these horses were replaced by a servant according to the knight and knocking coconuts.

  • Charlie and its funny ladies : Before the princesses are not introduced into the castle, Fiona makes a noise of bird to give a signal to White-Snow. It makes use of the same movements of hands that the character of Nathalie in Charlie and his funny ladies did it to make a noise of bird. Fiona and Nathalie are besides both played by Cameron Diaz.

  • the Melody of happiness : After the Queen knocks the head against the walls, it is a little sounded and begins with fredonner Voilà some of the things which I prefer . The Queen and Maria (who sings this song in the Melody of happiness ) are besides both played by Julie Andrews.

Reception

With 121 million dollars, the film had the most flourishing beginning of rooms for a cartoon film.
