Short of counter

Brèves of counter is the generic title of a series of books published since 1988 by Jean-Marie Gourio.

Principle

The Brèves of counter are authentic quotations collected in the life of the every day by Jean-Marie Gourio, especially in the bars and bars. The author has published a collection of these short of counter appreciably every year for 20 years. In these works, the absurdity, the Poetry, humor but also the topicality and sometimes the Philosophie are côtoient.

In an interview, the author stated to have started this collection because he “always wondered what could in the evening speak the slaves who built the pyramids! Because they said something well. But what? ”.

Several adaptations of the Brèves of counter were carried out for the Théâtre, generally by Jean-Marie Gourio itself.
