Shoguns of transition
Even if Nobunaga Oda and Hideyoshi Toyotomi, two military adventurers, did not succeed in founding a new dynasty of Shogun S, they lived at one crucial moment of the Histoire of Japan and carried out his unification. Their successors contributed to the appearance of a relative peace at the time of the era Tokugawa.
One can also add to these shoguns transition Mitsuhide Akechi, which owes with its extremely short reign the nickname of Jūsan Kūbo , “the thirteen days shôgun”. It should be noted that none of the three had officially the title of Shogun.
