Shoed Jean price

The Price Jean Shoed , initially entitled Price Daudet until 2006, is a Literary prize French created by Radio Courtesy in 1997 in the honor of Alphonse Daudet and its son Leon Daudet, and rewarding the French personality or Francophone having best served the French language during the three last years, this personality was selected among the writers, the journalists, the producers of radio or television. For the first turn of the poll, the jury is consisted of the whole of the members to association of Radio Courtesy, and for the second turn, by the whole of the people present at the dinner of birthday of the radio, in November.

March 31st, 2007, Jean-Louis Daudet, heir to Leon Daudet, withdrew the authorization to use its name with the new direction of Radio Courtesy, qualified by him and a minority of the owners of emissions of “direction in fact”. Jean-Louis Daudet affirms that this new direction “believed possible to take possession of this radio, there to exert censure, and to manage it according to interests”. This, as well as the death of Jean Shoed in 2006, will bring the radio one has to rename the price in " Price Jean Ferré" as from 2007.
