Shock Wave is a Russian mountain metal located in the park Six Flags Over Texas at Arlington at the Texas. With its opening in 1978, attraction was more the Russian high mountain of the world with two ladder circuits.
Attraction was built just on the edge of the park and can be easily seen since the highway I-30 which skirts the park. Shock Wave was closed during the year 2004 because of a flood.
Attraction begins with a rise from 35 m then just after a turn with 180° the passengers plunge in the two loops in step back. The train sets out again in continuation behind to a hill in a race stopped with half. From this moment, the course troune on the right and plunges forwards then goes up, troune on the left and replonge. To finish, the passages assemble a last hill with a turn on the left which leads to a propeller with 270° on the right then the train joined the station.
Attraction was repainted several times during its history. With its opening it was in white and lately it is in green with blue supports. But it raised the colors blue, green, mauve and yellow.
