Sho Tsukioka

Sho Tsukioka , (彰月岡), is a male character of the book/film/manga of Battle Royale; it is a mysterious transvestite.

In the manga

It receives as arms a double Derringer; and fact part of the gang of Kazuo Kiriyama. Tsukioka does not fall into the trap tended by Kiriyama contrary to the other members from the band. Tsukioka remains hidden while espionnant remote Kiriyama while waiting for the good moment to descend it, i.e. when Kiriyama eliminates everyone, it kills it by behind. But this last is not easily deceived… Kiriyama goes in the public toilets in a soon prohibited zone. Tsukioka follows it, thinking that Kiriyama would not be made kill also stupidly. Time passes, when suddenly the wind blows and opens the door where Kiriyama had returned (manga), in the novel, Tsukioka loses patience and comes to open the door. Tsukioka discovers with astonishment that there is a large water bottle which ran little by little, that explained why Kiriyama put as much time to make its needs. Kiriyama appears at the horizon, their glance crosses. Tsukioka discovers with fear that it is in a zone become prohibited. Its collar explodes… Kiriyama was much more malignant.

In film

It does not receive a double derringer. It is made kill as well as the remainder of its band by Kiriyama which had succeeds in pricking a machine-gun to them.

More infos

His/her father holds a gay bar. Tsukioka is an expert in blackmail according to the flashback in the manga. It is one disguises alcoolo and smoker. It grew in this bar and thus knew beaucoups things like treason, that explains why it had not gone to the place indicated by Kiriyama. It had a little more experience than his dead comrades. In the manga, it is noted that Tsukioka cannot leave the island living, being homosexual, its victory can dishonor the country. A anti-homosexual act. It was the only victim of the collar in the manga and the novel.

He is played by Shigeki Hirokawa in film.
