Shlomo Artzi ( שלמהארצי ) is a Chanteur and Compositeur Israélien. It was born in the Moshav Aloney Aba, in Israel, the November 26th 1948. It is one of the largest singers in Israel, and sold several million albums
During its Military service, it took part in several orchestras within Tsahal, particularly within the unit Lehakat Cheil Hayam (group of singers of the marine national Israeli). It gained the first price of a contest of song, with its title Pitom Achshav, Pitom Hayom
It represents Israel with the Concours Eurovision of the song, in 1975, with the song At Ve' Ani (You and Me), written by Ehud Manor, and composed by Artzi itself.
In 1976, it leaves a collection its best songs of the period 1970-1973.
In 1980, Artzi launches a radio operator program on the waves of Galei Tsahal, the radio of the Israeli army.
In 1995, it takes part in the collective of artists and Israeli singers who compose the album Shalom Haver , in memory of Yitzhak Rabin. It sings there two titles, Haish Hahu (This man) and Uf Gozal (Flies small), written by Arik Einstein and Miki Gavrielov.
In 1996, its album Shnayim (Two) is sold has 160.000 specimens.
In 2007, it gives a concert to Paris, in the honor of the Fonds Jewish national, having more than 5000 people.
