Shishapangma
The Shishapangma is the fourteenth top highest of the world, located in the the Himalayas at the Tibet. It is also called the Gosainthan , Xixabangma or Xixabangma Feng .
Rises
- 1964 - the first rise was made a success of on May 2nd by a Chinese forwarding directed by Hsu Ching. It is the last of the 8.000 to be climbed.
- 2004 - Jean-Christophe Lafaille made a success of on December 11th the first winter rise as a recluse of a top of more than 8.000 meters by climbing only Shishapangma by a new way in the Southern face.
