Shinzō Abe (安倍晋三 Abe Shinzō , decides Abé ) (September 21st 1954, Nagato, Préfecture of Yamaguchi) is a politician Japan board born in one of most important political families of the country. President of the democratic Liberal party (PLD) of the September 20th 2006 with the September 23rd 2007, it exerts the function of Prime Minister of the September 26th 2006 with the September 25th 2007.

Biography

Abe leaves graduate in political sciences the Faculty of Law of the Université Seikei in 1977. It then leaves to off continue its studies in political science with the University Southern California. Of return to Japan, Abe works for the metal building firm Kōbe Steel Ltd. and this until in 1982. It returns then to the service of the government as an assistant of the Foreign Minister. Abe becomes then personal assistant of the president of the General advice of the democratic liberal party and finally personal assistant of the general secretary of the PLD.

Political career

To died of his/her father in 1991, Abe is presented to its place in the first district of the prefecture of Yamaguchi in 1993. Abe is elected and beats the record of the number of voices in the electoral history of the prefecture. In 1999, he becomes director of the division of the social Affairs. Of 2000 with 2003, he is vice-chief of cabinet in the government Yoshirō Mori and Jun' ichirō Koizumi before being appointed general secretary of the PLD.

In 2002, it was used as negotiator as a chief for the Japanese government to discuss with the North Korea the fate five surviving Japanese removed on the Japanese beaches on order the dictator Kim Jong-il. At the time of this mission it forged a reputation of firmness. He was also chief of the research team within the PLD against the sex education “excessive”.

The October 31st 2005, Abe is named at the station of spokesperson of gouverment of Koizumi. Abe presents its candidature for the position of secretary general of the PLD on September 1st 2006. Regarded as the big favorite vis-a-vis Sadakazu Tanigaki and Tarō Asō, he is elected on September 20th, 2006 with the head of the PLD with 464 votes out of 703. He succeeded Tuesday, September 26, 2006 with Jun' ichirō Koizumi the post of Prime Minister.

Although Shinzō Abe has, until its election, played political ambiguity on its real intentions, it aims in its projects, to propose the concept of “ national interest ”, to firmly moor the defense of Japan to the American military apparatus by developing an offensive army and to récrire the peaceful Constitution of 1947, by denouncing it like “ an act of contrition of overcome towards the winner ” and estimating that this fundamental text must “ be elaborate our hands ”. He says in favor “ of a government which will have muscle ”. On its side, the Japanese left reproaches him for being inexperienced and badly surrounded, never not to consult the best experts and especially regards it as an extremist of right-hand side.

Abe should also leave the presidency of the democratic liberal party.

The shortly after its advertisement, Abe is allowed in a hospital of Tōkyō.

He resigns the September 25th 2007.

Others

The maternal grandfather of Abe is Nobusuke Kishi, a former Prime Minister of Japan of 1957 with 1960, which was in addition imprisoned as suspect of War crime of class 1945 with 1948 has, as a former senior official of the Manzhouguo, then minister in the cabinet of war of the general Hideki Tōjō. Imprisoned during three years by the Americans, it was finally released without assignment in front of the Tribunal of Tōkyō.
