Shinrei

Shinrei is a character of the Manga Samurai deeper Kyo .

Weapon: It can make use of a sword but its favorite weapons are the dances of the eau.
Technical: It controls the technique of the current Saigyo, it controls water.

Shinrei is one of Five Planets of the Mibu clan, it controls water and is the guard of the fifth door which leads to the palate of Yin and Yang. He is the disciple of Lord Fubuki, one of the four Wise ones for which he has - at the beginning at least - an unbounded devotion. He was in love with Sakuya but he has also affection for Saisei although this one is a dead ressuscitée by Saishi.

He appears at Muramasa to kill it like Kyo with the eyes of demon (volume 11). He withdraws himself after having seen the " Holy Cross rouge" , sign of the red king, to appear in the back of Kyo. It leaves however in the body of Yuya Shiina a water dragon which will shred the heart in sixty days to him if Kyo does not stop the ambition of Mibu by preventing the assassination of Ieyasu Tokugawa and if it does not go out of Mibu ground (volume 12).

Extremely faithful to the Mibu clan it accepts even with pride the " chaines" who bind it to the clan, even if those make it suffer. Persuaded that Kyo responsible for died for Taihaku and of Saisei he swears to overcome it. He finds himself vis-a-vis Keikoku, his half-brother, come to help Kyo (volume 21). This last will release it from its chains and its freedom will return to him. It is as from this moment that Shinrei regards really Luciole as his/her brother.
