Shinnyo

Shinnyo is a founded Buddhist order in Japan in 1936.

Its founder Shinjo ITO (1906-1989) accepted ordination with the Daigoji temple in 1936 and accepted the formations and the lesson lavished in Buddhism Shingon transmitted by Maître Kukai.

Devenu Grand Acharya in 1943 it establishes a new current with the Shinnyo order, which accommodates as well the monastic practitioners as the laymen.

Will soutra principal of Shinnyo is the Soutra Mahaparinirvana . This will soutra underlines inter alia the nature of Buddha inhérante to all, the eternal presence of Buddha, the Nirvāna being a merry state of self pure, and that way towards the Éveil is led to all without distinction.

The Buddha principal of the Shinnyo order is the representation of the Bouddha in Nirvāna , carved by the founder Shinjo ITO. (see exposure The Vision and Kraft off Shinjo Ito)

There are temples and center of practices in all the areas of Japan, in Asia, in the United States and in several countries in Europe.

The order is guided today by Shinso ITO (born in 1942). It is successor of the founder and registered in authentic filiation by the Daigoji temple. It was in 1997 the first woman in the history of the Shingon to officer a ceremony in the building Kondo, the principal temple of the Daigoji monastery in Kyoto.
