Shining Tears (シャイニング ・ ティアーズ) is a Action RPG left on Playstation 2 in 2004 in Japan and 2005 in the United States. This play was developed by Amusement Vision and was published by Sega. It belongs to the series '' Shining ''.

Shining Tears tells the history of a mysterious young man called Xion. Following the rather positive reception of the play in the United States, Sega decided to adapt the play in Anime under the name of Shining Tears X Wind .
