Shine of Pablo

Shine of Pablo , born the January 28th 1930 with Bilbao, is a Spanish Compositeur having belonged to the baptized generation of Spanish type-setters Generación LED 51 by Cristóbal Halffter.

Biography

He studies very young person the music, but follows the courses of right of the Université Complutense of Madrid, which he leaves graduate in 1952. It founds the concerts Tiempo there Música in 1959, where will be created in Spain, the Hammer without Master and the three sonatas for piano of Pierre Boulez, like Zeitmass of Karlheinz Stockhausen. To the beginning of the year 1960, it goes to Darmstadt, to meet there Bruno Maderna, Pierre Boulez, György Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen, then in Paris to follow there the courses of max Deutsch, former student of Schönberg. It is at the origin in 1965 first Spanish studio of Musique electroacoustic " Alea". In 1968, it publishes an important treaty of esthetics, heading Aproximación has una estética música contemporánea (Madrid).

In 1972, it organizes the “Meetings of Pampelune”, Festival of music, theater, cinema and of visual arts. In front of the oppositions of the pro-Franco and the ETA, it is exiled with the the United States, where it teaches at the university of Buffalo, then with the Canada, where he is professor at the university of Ottawa and that of Montreal. Its activities in addition are numerous: director of the festival of Lille in 1982, director of the diffusion of the modern music to the Spanish ministry for the Culture (1983), member of the committee for the project of the Opera-Bastille (1984).
