Luis Jiménez (July 30th 1940 - June 13rd 2006) was a American Sculpteur , born with El Paso (Texas).
Jiménez was known for its great polychrome sculptures in Glass fiber inspired of topics of American and Hispanic south-west. Its work, often discussed, was easily recognizable by the topics and their coloured, brilliant and undulated surfaces.
He died the June 13rd 2006 in his workshop of Hondo (New Mexico), when a great sculpture of horse mustang fell on him. The part was intended for the international airport Stapleton of Denver.
