Shine Chero Zurita

Shine Enrique Chero Zurita , (born the April 24th 1958 with Chiclayo, capital of the Région of Lambayeque, Peru -) is a Peruvian Archéologue , which took part under the direction of Walter Alva in the setting in the day, in 1987, after one year of efforts, of the tomb of the Seigneur of Sipán , going back to approximately 290 after J. - C, regarded as two last decades the most outstanding discovery of the 20th century, in the field of the archeology précolombienne.

Biography

Luis Chero Zurita studied the Archéologie with the Université of Trujillo, of which it left graduate after having supported a thesis on “Studies of Moche tombs in the sector II-South of the archaeological complex of Huaca Rajada - Sipán, Vallée of Chancay - Lambayeque. ”

Archeologist resident of Project archaeological Sipán right from the start, Shine Chero Zurita took in load, jointly with wife of Walter Alva, Anthropologist Susana Meneses of Alva (1948 - 2002), deceased since, work of ground which leads to the setting at the day of the royal tombs of Sipán (fall it from the Seigneur of Sipán , those of the Vieux Lord , the priest and those of the warriors and noble), of which it ensured then, until in 2000 the scientific excavation.

In the month of March 2007, always under the direction of Walter Alva, he undertakes a new excavation campaign of the site of Sipán, directed towards the study of architecture and the new funerary units.
