Shiki-Jitsu
Shiki-Jitsu (in Japanese 式日), also known under the title Ritual , is a Japanese film of Hideaki Anno (2000).
Synopsis
Shiki-Jitsu is a modern lovesong in which the destinies of an introverted realizer and a lost and somewhat disturbed girl cross.
Visually superb, moving, and psychologically simple but interesting.
In this film, Hideaki Anno evokes, via the character of this young woman, the disorder borderline from which he suffered (fear of the abandonment, emotive on-implication, absence of self-confidence) that he had already developed in Evangelion.
