Shigeru Miyamoto
Shigeru Miyamoto () is a creator Japan board of Video game. It made its career at Nintendo, for which it created, inter alia, the characters of Super Mario (Mario and Luigi, Donkey Kong,…) of '' The Legend off Zelda '' and more recently of Pikmin. It is called the Spielberg of the video games .
Biography
Born on November 16th 1952 with Sonobe, it is impassioned very early for the drawing, the music, and the puppets. At 17 years, it enters in Kanasawa Municipal Arts and Grafts College, where it spends 5 years before taking down its diploma, in 1974. It has a formation of industrial designer, and drew in particular davits (in the shape of elephants). Engaged by Nintendo as artistic director in 1977 (by Hiroshi Yamauchi), it started by being interested in the design terminals of arcades. In three months he invented Donkey Kong, a play of arcade of which he designed the case and directed the design. These were an enormous success which made it possible at Nintendo to be established in America. He took then the direction of the unit R & D 4 (fame EAD), in charge of the development of play. Miyamoto is devoted from now on to Wii (the new console of Nintendo) and to its lever. It for example took part in the realization of The Legend off Zelda: Twilight Princess left on December 8th, 2006, and carried out Super Mario Galaxy, which for its part left on November 16th, 2007 to Europe, the day of its 55 years.
