Shield of autumn
The Bouclier of autumn is a competition created and organized by the Stade Toulousain, during the years 1970. It brought together the eight best teams of the preceding championship, little before the resumption of championship. The final took place with Toulouse, between the September 30th and the October 12th.
(Has not to confuse with the Champion of autumn , semi-official title decreed during the winter trève, with half of the championship.)
