Sherborne School
Sherborne School is an English private school for boy located in the cossue city of Sherborne in the North-West of the Dorset in England.
History
The origins of the school go back to VIIIesiècle when the tradition of teaching begins thanks to St Aldhelm. Alfred the large one was in particular one of the first pupils. The school was then related to Abbaye Bénédictine of the city. The very first Master was Thomas Copeland in 1437. After the Dissolution of the orders, Edouard VI refonda the school in 1550 in school of the king Edouard , a free school of grammar for the boys of the surroundings. The current school which knew risks since the Reform, is located on a ground which belonged a time to the monastery, thus the library, the chaelle one, the apartments of the Masters being next to the church of the Abbey are restorations of the buildings of origins. Shelborne School is now a private school of great reputation which attracts the pupils of the whole world.
