Shenmue II

Shenmue II is a Video game of action/ventures developed and published by Sega on Dreamcast in 2001. The play was republished on Xbox in 2002.

It is about the continuation of Shenmue and constitutes chapters 3,4,5 and 6 of the saga.

Scenario

Recall Shenmue I

Ryo Hazuki, wire of a Master of famous martial arts sees his/her father being made assassinate under his eyes by a man of Chinese origin called Lan Di. In order to avenge death for his/her father, Ryo will continue the track of the assassins and will seek to encircle the mobile of the assassination.

Synopsis

The scenario of shenmue II begins again where that of the First episode stops. After having travelled in boat (Chapter 2: The STEAMER nonpresent in the final version), Ryo is able at HongKong (China) to continue her search of revenge. The first part of the play proceeds with HongKong, in particular in the districts of Aberdeen and Wan Chai. Then a chapter follows in Kwoloon before finishing in Guillin

The play is much more beautiful than the first episode, and offers even more possibilities to the level of the dialogs, mini-plays or of the jobs. Moreover the scenario is tied up better and the lifespan is increased.

Characters

Ryo Hazuki is the hero of the play. It is this character whom we incarnate. He is impassioned by the martial arts taught by his father.

Shenhua is a 16 year old young girl. She lives in a corner isolated in the areas from Guilin (China). It is a very mysterious girl…

Places

The history begins in HongKong, then the scenario continues in Kwoloon and to finish in the area of Guilin.

Shenmue IIx

Shenmue IIx is the republication of Shenmue II on Xbox, after Sega decided “to be reconverted” into the edition multi platform.

In addition to one play adapted to the capacities of the Xbox, it offers the support DVD (instead of the 4 GD of Shenmue II) and some no-claims bonus, like the possibility of taking photographs and of rejouer to the mini-plays apart from the adventure. Contrary to Shenmue II on (Dreamcast) the voices and under titles are in English.

First Shenmue had not left on Xbox, sega had the good idea to offer in no-claims bonus the film " Shenmue the movie " , recalling the history of the first opus.
