Shekhar Mehta

Shekhar Mehta (June 20th 1945 - April 12th 2006) was a pilot of Kenyan rally . It gained the Safari Rally five times (1973 and of 1979 with 1982). It gained the majority of its successes over Datsun. It put an end to its career after an accident with the Rallye of the Pharaons in 1987. It took responsabilities with the then TRUSTED and became president of the commission World Rally Championship until its death with London. Of origin Uganda ise, he had fled in 1973 the mode of Idi Amin Dada towards Kenya.
