Sheila Jordan

Sheila Jeannette Jordan (born Dawson the November 18th 1928 with Strait in the Michigan) is a Chanteuse of Jazz étatsunienne.

In 1977 it recorded an album with Arild Andersen and in 1983 was published its first album in duet in collaboration with the bass player Harvie Swartz ( Old Time Feeling ). Jordan directed workshops of jazz starting from 1978 to the City College of New York , was occupied with Jay Clayton programs of the festival Jazz in July at the University of Massachusetts and gave courses to the Université Stanford. Judi Silvano and Sabine Kühlich one be inter alia his pupils.
