Sheik Arab Bouzgarene is a Algerian Chanteur kabyle, born with Djemâa Saharidj (Algérie) the May 27th 1917, dead in April 1988.

It passes its childhood in its native village in Kabylie located at about thirty kilometers in the East of the town of Tizi-ouzou.

In 1942, it leaves to Algiers and meets El Hadj Mhamed El Anka, it integrates its troop. He immigrates in France in 1946 and meets several artists like Sheik El Hasnaoui, Slimane Azem, Bahia Farah, Fatma Zohra.

In 1950, Sheik Arab Bouzgarene publishes his first song, Anfass anfass on the topic of the condition of an immigrant in France. The topic of immigration and the exile was very often approached not the singers of the time.
