Sheepskin

The sheepskin is a skin of Mouton tanned with vegetable substances which is used to cover the books and with other uses. As regards Binding, the sheepskin is used for the ordinary bindings of natural color. Of poor quality, the sheepskin offers one lifespan quite less than the bindings in Maroquin, Veau or even in sorrow.

Symbolic system

The Noces of sheepskin symbolize the 31 years of Mariage in the French folklore.
