The She (畲) are a Ethnicity. They constitute one of the 56 ethnicities officially identified by the Popular republic of China. They represent the greatest minority of Fujian. They are also present in the provinces of Zhejiang, of Jiangxi, Guangdong and Anhui. They were approximately: 700000 at the end of the 20th century.
The She language is one of the Langues hmong-mien. The majority of She speak today about the Chinese dialects. Those which maintain their own language (only a few hundreds in the province of Guangdong) call " Hone" (Chinese: huóniè).
