Shawn Ray
Shawn Ray (born on September 9th, 1965) was an American bodybuilder , one of best of the Eighties to 2000 which was essential thanks to its line époustouflante, symmetrical and esthetic.
In the middle of the Eighties, it makes speak about him little by little by gaining contests of the IFBB like Teenage National championships or Mr.California, contest which it will gain in 1987 in any category and will obtain its chart pro.
In 1988 it takes part has its first Mr. Olympia where it makes 13th. In 1989 it takes one sabbatical year to improve its weak points and its symmetry in order to compete with the best world ones on the podium of Mr.Olympia 1990 when it takes down amazing a 3rd place. The same year it gains Ironman Pro and Arnold Classic (contest where it will be disqualified for use of doping agents). In 1991 it gains Arnold Classic for good and will take part in Mr.Olympia until its retirement of the competition in 2001.
In all the contests in which it will have taken part during this period it will ever have made less than 6th and will have to impose a vision different from the bodybuilder " type" solid mass, unaesthetic and dense. Its fluid lines, its incredible symmetry and its cut out muscles will have propelled Shawn Ray to the statute of " caption bodybuilding".
