The Shatuo (沙陀, also called Seyanto or Sha-you O ) are a Turkish tribe which had a great policies influence in China of the North of the end of the 9th century at the end of the 10th century. They in particular founded three of the five dynasties of the Period of the Five Dynasties and the Ten Kingdoms.
