Sharp X68000

The Sharp X68000 , commonly called X68000 or X68k , is a Personal computer of Sharp Corporation marketed with the Japan as from 1987. The first model used a CPU Motorola 68000 with 10 MHz, with 1 MB of RAM and no Hard drive. The last model, launched in 1993, turned on a CPU Motorola 68030 given rhythm to 25 MHz, with 4 MB of RAM and an hard drive SCSI of 80 MB in option. The basic models comprised two readers of diskettes 5" ΒΌ .

The arcade at the house

Following the example Western microcomputers like the Amiga and the Atari ST, the architecture of X68000 brought it closer to the systems of arcade of the time. A certain number of famous Jeux of arcade were consequently adapted on the machine like Bubble Bobble , Columns , Final Fight , Ghosts 'N Goblins or Parodius Da! .
