Sharon (area)
Sharon (in Hebrew: שרון - Sārôn ) is an area of the center of the Israeli coast . Its capital is the town of Netanya (population of 190.000 inhabitants approximately).
The plain of Sharon is bordered by the the Mediterranean in the west, the Mont Carmel in north, the Samarie in the east and the agglomeration of Tel Aviv in the south. The southern limit is the river Yarkon.
