Julien Baudoin , (towards 1676, Laval - October 20th 1761), Religious and writer French.

Biography

The Abbé Angot indicates that all the authors name wrongly it Nicolas-Joseph, or Nicolas-Jean. It belongs to a family of Laval-native tradesmen, quoted in 1551 among the notable ones of Changé, living the district of Bootz.

Master be-arts of the faculty of Angers, 1698, then graduate in theology, it is provided the April 30th 1716 per Roger with Crévy, bishop of the Mans, a canonicat to the collegiate church Saint-Michel of Laval, after death of Jean Guerin and on presentation of Henri de Montbourcher, lord of Poligné.

Jansenist like the majority of its fellow-members, it takes share with the doctrinal fights of its time and writes two works on the liturgy.

It is buried the October 20th 1761, at the 85 years age, in the Saint-Michel church.
