Shaoshan (韶山; Pinyin: Sháoshān) is a city of the province Hunan in China. It is a city-county placed under the jurisdiction of the city-prefecture of Xiangtan.

Shaoshan is the birthplace of Mao Zedong, founder and first president of the Popular republic of China.
