Shantaks
The Shantaks are creatures of fiction of the myth of Howard Philips Lovecraft.
They especially appear in the Nouvelle Démons collection and wonders, In the search of Kadath, like in the window of the room with pinion (to be checked).
Servant of the God Cthulhu, as well as others Large old (like Nyarlathotep), these creatures serves its goals while transporting its servants and by driving out those which are opposed to its intentions.
Appearance
The shantaks resemble enormous birds, the body of horse, and size of a small elephant. Their scale is immense, their appearance is feeling reluctant (in particular their skin), and their breath is stinking.
