Summary
Shangai Baby is a literary work explaining current Chinese youth in all its madness. The main character Nor Ke called Coco (coming from its idol Coco Chanel) is a released young woman sharing his life between Tian Tian, the impotent artist and Mark the German lover, the stereotype even of the rough Nazi. Always trying new experiments, Coco is trotted in the scintillating nights of Shangai. Provocante, without complexes, nor taboo, it wants above all to make hear its voice and especially protest and strong its freedom high.

Zhou Weihui caused much stir in China, however when one compares it with our writers " provocateurs" Western Europe, it is only one pale imitation of a banal subject. Thus it is interesting to know this Asian youth, even if work is not with the height of its censure.
