Career

Its beginnings

Shane McMahon attended the University Roger Williams in Rhode Island before going to the University of Boston. Following obtaining its diploma in 1993, it finds an employment with the WWE on the televisual side of the departments of the production, sales, marketing and international expansion. Thereafter, it helps the digital department of the company to launching the Internet site WWF.com (which is WWE.com today) in 1998, a site which accommodates more than 7 million visitors single per month.

Since July 2003, Shane is Executive Vice-président of Division WWE Global Media, he also deals with the distribution overseas emissions of the WWE, events live and other consumables of the WWE. In addition to its responsibilities for the company, Shane McMahon also contributes like fighter and member of the creative team.

It began its career with the screen like referee in 1990, it was also the first “artist” has to leave to greet crowd at the time of WrestleMania VI. It becomes also official slides about it at the time of WrestleMania VIII whereas it tries to separate a brawl between Randy Savage and Ric Flair.

Regular passages…

In 1998, at the time of famous the feud between Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shane McMahon passes regularly to the screen. At the beginning of the Feud we will see Shane regularly coming to support his/her father, but it will not become a “Enforcer” (“guard-of-body”) like had become the Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson. At the summer, Shane becomes “color-commentator” for Sunday Night Heat, but it will be for one short period. It is then perceived like a “face” (“nice”) and encourages the members of DX. After its period as commentator, Shane becomes a regular character, being turned against his/her father when it signs Austin under contract after returns of this last by Vince. But with the Survivor Series, Shane betrayed Austin and joint with the “Corporation” of his/her father.

Shane becomes a key character in the angle of the Corporation, he gains the Européen title vis-a-vis X-CAP. Both will again clash at the time of WrestleMania 15, it will receive the assistance of his/her friends of childhoods the Mean Street Posse, inter alia, and will preserve its title.

After WrestleMania 15, Vince becomes “face”, and Shane takes the full control of the Corporation. With fighters like Triple H in its new clan, he faces the new group of his father, “the Union”. At the time of the first of SmackDown on UPN, Shane will join its forces to “Ministry Of Darkness” of the Undertaker. Later we will learn that Vince was the project superintendent behind this clan and its “face turn” was only one plot to take again the title of the WWF with Steve Austin. Austin will face Shane and Vince in a Ladder Match (match with scale) at the time of King off The Ring 1999.

After Steve Austin takes the control of the company in the storyline, Shane is caught some with Test, which according to the history in progress attends his/her sister Stephanie McMahon. Wanting to protect the latter, Shane “feud” with Test and the assistance of his/her buddies of Mean Street Poses, made life of Test a true hell. With SummerSlam 1999, Shane faces Test in one Coils “Her gold Leave Her” match (“Likes, or leaves it”), with, of course will have included/understood it to you, the stipulation which if Shane gains the combat Test and Stephanie must cease their frequentation. Test succeeds in carrying it and can with the approval of the big brother continue his relation with Stephanie. Later, Stephanie will make a “heel turn” and will drop Test like an old sock to the profit from Triple H. With the arrival from the era McMahon-Helmsley, the other McMahon family members disappear for a time from our tele small screen.

At the time of No Way Out 2000, Shane carries out its return by helping the Big Show to overcome The Rock. What will begin the famous road towards Wrestlemania 2000. Precisely, in WrestleMania 2000, at the time of the “hand vent” which opposes 4 fighters for the title of the WWF, one will see McMahon with each corner to encourage protected to them. The Rock is accompanied by Vince, Big Show by Shane, Triple H by Stephanie, and Mick Foley by Linda McMahon. Big Show will be the first eliminated man, and little of time afterwards, Shane and him will separate to lead us to a combat between the 2 with Judgment Day 2000, which Shane with the assistance of Test and Albert will gain. In the following months, Shane is combined with fighters like Edge & Christian, which will help it inter alia overcoming Steve Blackman in a combat for the Hardcore title. Shane will lose the title at the time of SummerSlam 2000 vis-a-vis Blackman in a combat revenge, it will lose the title after being struck by a “elbow drop” of more than 30 m in the airs…. Shane will disappear then and will make only some occasional appearances.

“Alliance”

In 2001, Shane McMahon once again becomes “face” in a feud vis-a-vis his/her father. The World Championship Wrestling (WCW) is sold in World Wrestling Federation one week before the combat between Shane and Vince with WrestleMania X-Seven. The WWF thus decides to use this purchase in the storyline, Vince McMahon starts by requiring with Ted Turner to come in WrestleMania to finalize the sale of the WCW. As usual the ego of Vince is with its best and Shane McMahon seizes the occasion to precede Vince and gets the WCW with large the damne of his/her father.

Whereas the weeks and months advance, Shane leads its fighters of the WCW in a battle vis-a-vis to the WWF of his/her father. Possibly will join its troop Paul Heyman and his band of the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) at the side of their new owner Stephanie McMahon. The group is then made call “Alliance” and plots to destroy the WWF.

However, the angle of Alliance is a true fiasco near the fans of fight and the whole finishes brutally at the time of the Survivor Series 2001 with the defeat and the disappearance of Alliance. The following day with RAW, Vince McMahon will congédiera Shane and Stephanie McMahon.

Following the destruction of Alliance, Shane remains in slide and will make only one short appearance at the time of WrestleMania XIX, when it comes to see how goes his/her father following Street Fight (“street battle”) of this last vis-a-vis Hulk Hogan.

At the summer 2003 it returns “face” in a feud with Kane and Eric Bischoff. All the world knows that he hates Eric Bischoff and that he believes that Vince should have named it him “General Manager” of RAW and not Bischoff. It beats this last in Street Fight in SummerSlam 2003. Shane McMahon is found at the same time in an intense history with Kane, which will reach its paroxysm in defeats in a Last Man Standing match (“last man upright”) in Unforgiven 2003 and in an Ambulance match in Survivor Series 2003.

After Survivor Series, free Shane McMahon RAW to devote itself to its family and her employment within the company (creative Team). At the time of WrestleMania XX, Shane McMahon briefly appears with the camera at the time of the opening with Vince McMahon and its fiston of a few months - the 3 generations of McMahon on the same scene. Shane McMahon will appear again at the time of WWE Homecoming in October 2005, when it intervenes in the boxing ring vis-a-vis Stone Cold which comes from Stunner his/her father, Shane receives, as the remainder of its family, the same treatment.

Return in 2006

Shane McMahon returns full-time and for rare once in “heel” (“malicious”) whereas it joint with his/her Vince father in its “feud” (“war”) against Shawn Michaels. After weeks or it attacks Shawn by behind, and or it forces HBK has to become member of the “KIS My Ass Club”, Shane faces Michaels in Street Fight at the time of Saturday Night' S Main Vent and in a reconstitution of famous “the Montreal Screwjob”, Shane McMahon places Michaels in the “Sharpshooter” (taken tender) whereas Vince McMahon requires that one sound the bell to give the victory to Shane McMahon.

The feud takes a religious turning when after Wrestlemania 22 (or Michaels carries it), when Vince McMahon declares that the victory of Michaels is the resultant of a “divine intervention”, and that he announces a combat by team with him and Shane vis-a-vis Michaels and “God” for Backlash 2006. Vince starts to act in an increasingly strange way and is considered up to a certain point God. Shane is then made off present by Vince like “the product of its seed” “… the product his semen”. The duet will beat Michaels with Backlash with the assistance of Spirit Squad.

This feud will bring also the participation of Triple H, which will be turned over gradually against McMahon and Spirit Squad, reforming the degeneration-X with hbk. At the beginning of sound “face turn” Triple H will strike “accidentally” Shane with its Sledgehammer whereas the target was Shawn Michaels.

2007

September 3rd with Raw, it will belong to the celebration of the McMahons

In Survivor Series Shane makes a apparation to encourage his/her half-brother, Hornswoggle, against Great Khali it will remain apart from the boxing ring throughout the match.
