Shan Zhang

Shan Zhang , born on March 23rd, 1968 with Nanchong, in the province of the Sichuan in China, is Olympic champion of shooting of skeet to the Olympic Games of Barcelona in 1992.

It started to be involved with the shooting whereas it was high-school girl. She joined the team of shooting of Sichuan in 1984, and the national team of shooting in 1989. World champion the skeet proof in 1989 and 1990, it takes part in the OJ of Barcelona in 1992, where it gains the title of the mixed test in front of seven men, by beating the world records of the test. With the OJ of 1996 in Atlanta, the mixed test is removed, only a test for men being proposed. Shan Zhang could not thus defend its title. A female test is introduced with OJ of Sydney in 2000, in which Shan Zhang takes part, after having been world champion in Cairo in 1998. But Shan Zhang finishes the test only seventh.
