Shams-ud-DIN Daud Shah II

Shams-ud-DIN Daud Shah II was sultan of the Empire Bahmanide during one short period of the year 1397. It succeeded his brother, who had hardly reigned for a few months, after having made it plug and imprison.

A turbulent reign

Daud was very young when it went up on the throne, and it was that which had raised it with the capacity which had the control of the country. This last, seeing a royal threat in two family members, Firoz and Ahmad, wanted to make them imprison. The two brothers learned the conspiracy and fled quickly towards Sagar. They attacked the royal palace then directly and killed the Prime Minister and his son. Daud was plugged and imprisoned until the end of its days, letting Firoz become sultan and Ahmad Prime Minister.
