Shamlu
Shamlu indicates a tribe Qizilbash of origin turkmene established in the Iranian Monde.
History of the Tribe of Shamlu
- Orthography varied from the names; Shamloo, Shamlou, Chamlou, Chamlu, Chamloo are accompanied sometimes by the title of " Beg" , " Bak" , Beigh" or " Bey " "
- to note that the title of Khan to female souvant is transcribed by Khanum and titrates it " Beg" by Bégum and that the orthography of these words varies according to the language and the countries.
The title of Aga although traditionally allotted to the men, was also used in Iran for the ladies belonging to the nobility.
The title of Khan at Shamlu is transmitted by board of guardians, traditionally of wire father. The holder of the title is regarded as Large the of the family being equivalent of the Ducs of the Western nobility (in Persan: Bozorg-e famil or Bozorg-e Khanevadeh ). Once granted the family branch, it is transmitted to all the descent of this branch until its exctinction and which has as a responsibility for take care of protection and the good being of all the tribe.
- to also note that there be sometimes alliances of tribes such as Ustajlu, Ardabili, Bigdili and GhiaBeg (Ghiaï) whose names were combined with that of Shamlu.
