Shakugan No Shana

Shakugan No Shana (“灼眼のシャナ”, Shana with the blazing eyes ) is a series of Romance Japanese which was seen adapting to the formats Manga (February 2005), Anime (2005), OAV (December 2006), film (April 2007) and plays video (PS2 and NDS). One second season is in hand on October 5th, 2007. A second Manga is also in preparation for on September 19th, 2007, it should take again the events of volume 10 of the novel.

Synopsis

A young high-school pupil, Yuuji Sakai , sees the world solidifying around him whereas it returned quietly from the school. 2 monsters appear then devouring the people, as suspended in time, around Yuuji. Whereas the monster is interested in this human which can still move, an young girl with will have fire, a Flame haze , appears and slices the Rinne , like Yuuji . This one discovers whereas it is already deceased and was replaced by a torch , a temporary heart of substitution. The friend who accompanied it, Hirai, proves to be replaced by a torch at the end of this combat. This one sinks little by little in the collective lapse of memory then disappears at the end of a few days, Shana having attended its evaporation recovered a little its flame and took its place in the world of human, since his/her classmates call it Hirai without to have noticed some difference with the Hirai preceding one. Paradoxically, the existence of Yuuji persists. Shana , the Flame haze , must then take care on him in spite of its trouble because it is about a Mistes , containing a powerful capacity, a hougu of the name of Reiji Maigo , enabling him to relight its torch every 24 hours, at midnight. So its integration with the class of Yuuji the assistance strongly to being at its sides permanently, it appears also very intelligent and terrorizes some of its professors. Yuuji , from now on unquestionable not to disappear more, decides to actively help it in its fight against the Guze No Tomogara , lords of a parallel world of which a part uses the vital force of human to gain to be able about it.

    Universe

    Characters

    • Shana:
    Haze Flame and heroin of the series, it is in permanent communication with one of the kings of dimension crimson, Alastor, via a jinki (object of communication between the king and the flame haze, pendentive at Shana) which it carries around the neck.
    When she endorses her role of Haze Flame and leaves her sword, Nietono No Shana (贄殿遮那), of sound yogasa (coat), its hair châtains take a color flame (red orange). It is of a small size, 1m41, and young person, his appearance would give him approximately 11-12 years.
    Its name, Shana , was conferred to him by Yuuji because it did not know how to call it, it did not have a name and was only one Haze Flame according to it.
    It replaced a classmate of Yuuji and is made call Hirai or Yukari by his/her comrades.
    One knows that she likes much the Pain melon and that returns it good mood.
    • Yuuji Sakai:
    Main character with Shana, it is not any more one human because died but became a torch, a special torch called mists .

    Known as the Manipulator, Haze Flame of the Lady Tiamat Illusionist, one of kings de Guze, it prepared Shana with its life of Haze Flame.
    • Tenmoku Ikko:
    worst Mistes which exists, one of the invincible mists who attacks Tomogaras.
    • Shiro:

    • Chigusa Sakai:
    Mother of Yuuji, it brings councils on the human feelings to Shana and likes to speak with it. She only lives with Yuuji, her father living and working far from them.
    • Yukari Hirai:
    Classmate of Yuuji and in love with Ike. She dies when Rinne appears whereas she was returning to her.
    When Hirai disappears, Shana preserves part of its flame and uses it to take its place in the mortal world.
