Shaka Hislop
Shaka Hislop (born the February 22nd 1969 with London) is a player of Football which with the dual nationality English and Trinidadian. This Goalkeeper is international of Trinity-and-Tobago, but he played for England on the level of less than 21 years. His/her parents are of origin Trinidadians.
During its studies with the University of Howard in the United States, he played as a guard for the university team. Its first professional club was Reading in England in 1992, before being recruited by Newcastle United in 1995 for £1 575.000. It was not the first choice at the post of guard, in front of fighting against Pavel Srníček, Shay Given and Steve Harper. For this reason, it signs with West Ham pulled by Harry Redknapp in 1998, remaining there up to 2002. It was Redknapp, then in such an amount of trainer of Portsmouth, which makes it sign in 2002. With Portsmouth, he was the titular guard, places that he preserved after the rise of his club in Premiership. After the departure of the club of Redknapp, it loses its place of holder under the new mode of Velimir Zajec. In 2005, it leaves Portsmouth for West Ham.
