The Shakés are a minority ethnicity Gabon board. One finds them in the Ogooué-Ivindo (Booué) and in the Ogooué-Milk (Lastourville).
Hello in Shaké says itself: " Wè Wagha" and one answers: " wè".
Several Gabonese do not know this ethnicity. It is rare to find one shaké which only speaks shaké. Being minority, they are obliged to speak the ethnos groups about those which surround them and merge with the latter. Shaké includes/understands a Akélé easily. It is extremely astonishing to notice on the other hand that the shaké vocabulary is very close to that of the Fangs.
