Shahrak-e Gharb
Shahrak-e Gharb (also called Shahrak-e Qods , in Persan: شهرکغرب) is a new Ville built in the North-West of the capital of the Iran, Teheran. It includes/understands many villas and modern buildings. Today he is considered a district of Teheran. Its name means the city of the west .
The district of Shahrak-e Gharb, rather easy, is one of the only districts of Teheran in conformity with the international standards for the modern cities. It thus has the easy access to the highways (like the Chamran , or the Hemmat, Hakim, Niyayesh, Sheik-Fazlollah and Yadegare-Emam ), is close to four large hospital, and three shopping malls ( Golestan, Iran-Zamin, and Millad ). It has also many parks, cinemas and arts centres, as well as barracks of Pompier S, police stations of police force and post offices. An international school is located in the district, another not being far, in the district of Sa' adat Abad.
Thanks to the winds of the west, Shahrak-e Gharb is less polluted that the other districts of the north of the capital. This, as well as other advantages, attract many Diplomate S and Expatrié S, which settles there.
