Shadafarin Ghadirian

Shadafarin Ghadirian شدافرىنقدىرىن , is an artist Iranian photographer born in 1974 with Teheran, Iran. After having studied its art at the Free university of Teheran, she teaches photography for several institutions of the city. She also works for the museum of the photography of Teheran.

Its work is dominated by the setting in image of veiled women, cash a series " Qajar " in which it breaks the temporal borders, making pose its models covered with clothing of time qadjar, associating to them anachronistic or incongruous objects such as bicycles, guitars, or vacuum cleaners.

Another heavy photographic series of symbolic system (" Like everyday"), is devoted to the Burqa which it photographs isolated, not carried, window occolaire covered by domestic functional objects (brush, domestic iron, teapot, etc…)
