The Shaanxi (陕西, Pinyin Shǎnxī, in the west of the collar) is a very old province of the China, whose Chef-lieu is Xi' year.
The province of Shaanxi is often regarded as the cradle of Chinese civilization. During more: 1100 years, thirteen dynasties established their capital there, and it remained thus the political center of China since the Dynastie Zhou until the fall of the Dynastie Tang with the whole beginning of the 10th century.
It is in this province of China that in 1556 took place the most fatal earthquake of the history of humanity. : 850000 people found death approximately there.
Most of the province is an arid region with strong contrasts of temperature between summer and winter, and of rare but sometimes violent precipitations in summer. It extends from the borders of the Mongolia-Interior , in north, to the valley of the Rivière Wei, where the chief town Xi' year is, in the south.
The small area in the south of the province, which is separated by from it the Monts Qinling, important assembly line extending from is in west on close to: 1500 km, are subjected to a climate of the subtropical type wetter.
