The religious office of Sha' harit or Chaharit (Hebrew: תפילתשחרית - Tefilat Cha' harit ) is the whole of the prayers of the morning that each Jew must make, whether it is large or small, old or young person.

This office is composed of several parts:

  • the berachots - Blessing S morning;
  • the setting of the Taleth and Téfilines;
  • the psoukei will dezimra ;
  • the parasha hakorbanot
  • the Shema Israel, preceded by two blessings (Yotzer HaMeorot and Ahava), and followed by a blessing (vayetziv Emits);
  • the Amidah or Chemona Essreï ;
  • the repetition of the Amidah;
  • the Tahanoun ims (supplications);
  • ashrei, ouva letsion ;
  • the Psalm of the day of the week;
  • kavé ;
  • alenou lechabeah .

In certain communities, after the Kaddish Yatom which follows the aleinou lechabeah , one threads the téfilines Rabbenou Tam and one recites a certain passage.
