The shōjo-have (少女愛, love of young girls ) is Shōjo manga (Cartoon Japan ease for girl) with a point of Amour in more (indeed, in Japanese, have means love). He generally speaks about implied relations or strong friendships between two women.

In Japan, the culture of the Sempai makes that the girls have the admiration almost without terminals for their higher, true model, from where blur of their feelings…

One notes a clear recrudescence of the representations shōjō-have in the media general public such as the mangas and animate since the beginning of the years 2000, generally like a point of detail (two girls among other, history being interested in a whole class or other protagonists), but also sometimes like point of interest, as in Kashimashi ~girl meets girl~ (an only female triangle in love).

The yuri is different: he announces clearly that it is about love and there are often sexual scenes , explicit or not. This tendency exists since more time than it is thought, but the female relations were formerly hidden in the principal intrigue of the history…

After the appearance of the term Boy' S Love for the Shōnen-have , the term Girl' S Love (ガールズラブ, gāruzurabu ) appeared in the middle of the years 2000.
