The Sforza are a family Italy of the Renaissance, originating in the Milanais. __TOC The dynasty was founded by Muzio Attendolo, called Sforza (the Fort) , born with Cotignola close to Pescara in 1369 and deceased in 1424, a Condottiere coming from Romagna which was used the kings angevins as Naples. It is most known of this dynasty of condottieri.
François I {{er}} 1450-1466
The son of Muzio Attendolo, François Sforza (1401-1466), directed Milan during the Quattrocento, and took again the title of duke of Milan after the disappearance of the last Visconti reigning in 1447 and the République Ambrosienne (1447-1450).
Ludovic Sforza (1452-1508), Ludovico it Moro , known to have taken Léonard de Vinci with his service, was beaten in 1500 by the French Army of Louis XII.
After the French had been rejected by the Swiss imperial troops, Maximilien Sforza, wire of Ludovic, became duke of Milan, until the return of the French and of François I {{er}} which imprisoned it.
Alexandre, first lord of Constant Pesaro
The family links itself with the Borgia, with the Mariage arranged of Lucrèce Borgia (1480-1519) with Jean de Pesaro (which was the illegitimate son of Constant).
