Seydou Keïta is an international footballer Mali in, born with Bamako the January 16th 1980. It evolves/moves at the station of medium ground to FC Seville and in team of Mali. He is the nephew of Salif Keïta and the first cousin of Kader Keita.

Biography

Formed with the Center Salif Keita, it joined the team holds Marseilles, after having disputed a World cup junior with the Nigeria in 1999 where it received the title of the best player of the competition (preceding Ronaldinho and Frank Lampard!). It evolves/moves two seasons in CFA before finishing by ends of match (one as a holder) with the team first, but is all the same aligned three times in Ligue of the Champions. It is thus lent to Lorient where it takes part fully in the Breton epopee which brings back the club Leagues 1 of them. Indeed, Seydou takes part in all the matches of championship and in their entirety, put aside at the time of the 1st day. Thanks to its good performances, it appears even in the standard team of the season of L2. The following year, the Malian plays less following wounds with repetition, but takes down the Coupe de France all the same one evening of May 2002 - only title of its career so far -, whereas its team is relegated in Ligue 2, and imposes itself in national team, which finishes 4th EDGE organized in residence.

At this point in time the RC Lens, which finishes second of Ligue 1 and seeks to be reinforced for the Ligue of the Champions, request to secure a loan with the club hakes later, concretized one year by a final transfer. Shoulder by his/her friend Adama Coulibaly, Seydou is long in confirming, undoubtedly because of the lack of time of play granted by the trainer of the time, Joel Muller. But the following seasons, and after the arrival with the club of Francis Gillot and the departures of Jerome Leroy and Alou Diarra, Se.Keita takes a great role in the lensois medium ground, and becomes thus the turntable of the team. And it is at the time of the season 2006/2007 that Seydou expresses its capacities as well as possible, which is worth to him to appear among the best strikers of the championship with 11 registered goals (what is enormous for a defensive medium), but also to be named to receive the trophy of the " better player of the saison".

Whereas it had prolonged its contract in Racing Club of Lens, Gervais Martel holds its word by letting it leave at the summer 2007. It joined FC Seville, then 3rd of the Spanish and double championship victorious of the Coupe of the UEFA.

At the time of the 1st match with its new club, it takes part in all the meeting (vis-a-vis Getafe), and delivers even a decisive master key with its compatriot Frederic Kanouté. It also disputes the sleeve outward journey of the 3rd preliminary round of the Ligue of the Champions, where it returns concerned as of second half. It then gains its place within manpower, participant in all the matches which follow.
