Sexual masochism

The sexual Masochisme is the sexual activity using the suffering like sees towards the pleasure.

The term was forged starting from the name of the count Sacher Masoch and his novel, Venus with the fur. In this novel, the hero adores a woman, whom it wishes to serve like slave; it acts more than one attitude of unconditional servility and a taste for humiliation in love that with a whole of sexual practices organized around the physical suffering, like nowadays. The novel of Masoch inspired the title of a song of Lou Reed, Venus in furs , devoted to the modern masochism.

The masochism is related to the Sadisme (Sado-masochisme).
