Sextus Quinctilius Varus
Sextus Quinctilius Varus (death in -42) is a Roman Questeur.
Resulting from a family Expert and related to the Republican party, its role in the assassination of Jules César remains obscure. It committed suicide after the Bataille of Philips into -42 which saw the defeat of the republicans Brutus and Cassius vis-a-vis the triumvirs Octave and Antoine.
He is the father of the general Publius Quinctilius Varus.
