Geographical and demographic description
The seventh district of Maine-et-Loire is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions:
- Canton of Angers-North
- Canton of Angers-North-West
- Canton of Candé
- Canton of Lion-in Angers
- Canton of Louroux-Béconnais
- Canton of Pouancé
- Canton of Segré.
According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 96617 habitants, .
